The foundation board consists of five members, automatically recruited from the president, the vice-president (clinical sleep research), the vice-president (basic research in sleep medicine), the secretary and the treasurer of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) e.V . With a new election or new appointment to the board of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) e.V., they automatically become members of the foundation board.
The president of the foundation board is the president of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) e.V..
The foundation board elects the vice president, who represents the president in all matters if she/he is unable to attend from among its members, .
